Our Story
Established in March of 1981, Happy Days has been offering personalized, Christian-based care to the children of New Mexico under the leadership of Dorothy Crossland for 43 years now.
In 202, Dorothy passed the baton to Aileen Lopez, who plans to continue Happy Days' bright legacy and bring Happy Days' Christian values and excellent care to generations of New Mexican children to come.
About Aileen
As the Director of Happy Days Christian Preschool, Aileen brings over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education to the Happy Days community. With two Associate of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education, specializing in Administration, she has honed her expertise in nurturing young minds. Beyond her professional credentials, Aileen is also a proud mother of three and a devoted wife.
Her commitment to excellence is evident in her ongoing pursuit of knowledge. Aileen holds numerous certifications and has completed extensive training in Early Childhood Education, ensuring she remains up-to-date with the latest best practices and methodologies in the field.
Currently, she is working towards completing her Bachelor of Arts in Family Child Studies with a concentration in Child Development at UNM, further enriching her understanding of child development and family dynamics.

She is excited to partner with families and the dedicated staff to provide a foundation for lifelong learning and faith-based growth. Together, she strives to make every day at Happy Days a joyful and enriching experience for young learners.
Happy Days is CACFP Certified
Meaning all meals served meet the state and federal guidelines for health and nutrition.
We serve all children 3 balanced meals and 2 snacks per day.
